Wednesday, November 11 | 1:30PM Join us at the Lincoln Theater for a very special screening and orchestral performance. Landfillharmonic follows the journey of the Recycled Orchestra of Cateura, a Paraguayan musical youth group that plays instruments made entirely out of recycled garbage from a nearby landfill. A true testament to the transformative power of music and the resilience of the human spirit, this film is not to be missed. GET YOUR MUSICAL FIX WITH BOTTLE SHOCK THE MUSICAL, IN CONCERT
Saturday, November 14 | 12:30pm Fun Fact: the genesis of the Napa Valley Film Festival began with the production of the hit film Bottle Shock! NVFF Founders and Directors Brenda and Marc Lhormer produced the movie which held its premiere at Sundance Film Festival in January 2008. Now a couple of broadway performer/creators with roots in California Wine country are developing a musical based on the movie. NVFF is hosting the FIRST EVER complete read-and-sing-through of the Bottle Shock The Musical, live on stage (with a rock band) at the Napa Valley Performing Arts Center. Come get your musical fix while learning a thing or two about how Napa Valley wines shocked the world by beating the French in a blind tasting in 1976.

AMERICAN HORROR STORY COMES TO NVFF 2015: HONOR EVAN PETERS AND FINN WITTROCK
Friday, November 13 | 6:00pm – 7:30pm | Lincoln Theater, YOUNTVILLE This year’s Celebrity Tributes get a pop culture twist as we honor two stars from American Horror Story: Hotel – Finn Wittrock and Evan Peters. These two Rising Stars, presented by Domaine Chandon, will be honored along with two others, Zoe Kazan and Lydia Hearst. We also honor Trailblazer Keegan-Michael Key and extend Legendary Actor Tributes, presented by Freemark Abbey, to John Travolta and Bruce Dern. Join us in celebrating the achievements of these renowned actors and actresses on Friday night of the Festival. Each honoree (excluding Bruce Dern who unfortunately cannot attend due to prior committments) will partake in on-stage Q&A sessions with Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush.

Sunday, November 15 | 8:30pm | Uptown Theatre, NAPA In 2013, Lexus Short Films launched with the goal of supporting and nurturing a new generation of emerging filmmakers. This year, our partnership with Lexus ignites with the announcement of the four winners of the Lexus Short Films 2015 Global Talent Search at the NVFF Closing Night Awards Ceremony. The four up-and-coming filmmakers from around the world will be on hand to share in the excitement surrounding the announcement. They will then embark on the production of four new short films around the theme of “anticipation” in partnership with The Weinstein Company who will produce the new movies. The four completed films will be shown together for the first time at a special event during the 2016 Napa Valley Film Festival.

WITNESS HISTORY: BAY AREA RIVALS THE OAKLAND RAIDERS AND SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS EXHIBIT THEIR LOMBARDI TROPHIES TOGETHER FOR THE FIRST TIME
Wendesday, November 11 – Thursday, November 12 | 12:00pm – 5:00pm Gearing up for the Superbowl 50 action? For the first time ever, the eight Lombardi trophies won by the Raiders and the 49ers are being displayed together as a part of the Superbowl 50 Lombardi Trophy Tour. This gigantic interactive exhibit features reading libraries, games, an obstacle course, and a chance to meet Ted Kwalick, the former All-American tight end from Penn State who played for both the 49ers (‘69-’74) and Raiders (‘75-77)! Fun fact: Ted scored the first touchdown ever at Candlestick Park in ‘71! Embrace the rivalry and see them all in one place this Festival season at the Napa Valley Museum. The exhibit is open to the public.
